School Houses
There are 4 house teams at Thorner School, these are:
Lacy : Red House Ryther: Blue House Franks: Green House Saville: Yellow House
The school assigns each child to a house team when they start their school life at Thorner C of E Primary School. If the child has had an older sibling that attended the school, they will be put into the same house where possible.
Whole school team events, such as Sports Day and Cake Bakes through to spelling test in assembly are always divided into Houses. House Points are also awarded for good work in class & for positive behaviour around the school. The house points are totalled at the end of the week with the winning House being announced in Friday assembly.
